Fees & Policies

Fees

At Mediation Helps, we understand the importance of transparent and fair pricing for our mediation service. We are committed to helping you navigate through conflict and reach mutually beneficial agreements. Our fees vary from case to case, and are tailored to your situation based on the following structure: -

Mediation Meetings

Our fees for mediation (online or in person) start from £90 per person per hour: -

MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) - £90 per person, based on a meeting which lasts up to 60 minutes. At this meeting we explain the process of mediation and you provide us with information about the circumstances. After the MIAM, it can be assessed if the case is mediatable.

The fee will include an introductory email or telephone call to the other party to invite them to a separate MIAM meeting.

Joint Mediation Session - £110 per person per hour and the session lasts for 90 minutes. In order for the Joint Mediation to take place both parties must agree to attend. The Joint Mediation session assists the parties to consider the issues and make their own decisions on how they both wish to move forward. The number of Joint Mediation Sessions that are required depends on the issues and the complexity of the case.

Mediation Outcome Documents

Our fees for producing written mediation outcome documents are as follows, and generally based on a charge of £110 per person per hour:

Signing court forms C100 for Child or All Issues cases, or Form A for Finance only cases – Start from £50 per form.

Individual mediation session Outcome Statement (OS) if required – Starts from £50 per person, based on one hour of work.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for All Issues Mediation (AIM) - £180 per person (£360 in total), based on three hours of work.

Open financial statement (OFS) - £120 per person (£240 in total), based on two hours of work.

Statement of Child Arrangements - £65 per person (£130 in total), based on one hour of work.

Please speak to us as we can offer the voucher scheme or low-cost mediation. In some circumstances, we may also offer a reduced rate for families in receipt of universal credit.

Notes: The rates above are inclusive of VAT.

Please contact us if you require any further information on our fees/pricing structure.
